This listing is for a full factory carton of 30 panels — 3,840 watts total — in new old stock condition. Each panel features a peel-and-stick adhesive backing and requires no additional mounting hardware, making it one of the few truly tool-free photovoltaic laminates available. The PVL-128 is UL 1703 listed for grid-tied systems up to 600 VDC, is Category 3 hurricane uplift rated (130 MPH) when installed per manufacturer guidelines, and carries CE and TUV certifications. These panels are no longer in production.

Applications

The Uni-Solar PVL-128 was designed primarily for low-slope and flat commercial roofing — membrane (EPDM, TPO) and metal roofing systems (Galvalume, Zincalume) — where conventional framed panels cannot be mounted. The peel-and-stick ETFE laminate bonds directly to approved roofing substrates, adding essentially no additional load to the roof structure. Because each bypass diode connects across every individual cell rather than across groups, shade from a single soiled or obstructed cell affects only that cell's output (typically less than 4.5% power loss), making the PVL series particularly well suited to rooftops with vents, HVAC equipment, or irregular shading. The flexible, rollable form factor — panels roll down to roughly a 16" cylinder — also makes them practical for RV, boat, truck trailer, and portable generator applications. The UL 1703 listing qualifies them for both grid-tied (up to 600 VDC) and off-grid installations on residential and commercial structures. Uni-Solar (United Solar Ovonic) discontinued the PVL product line, and factory-sealed carton stock is increasingly scarce. Installers and integrators working on low-slope or metal roof projects, or seeking a lightweight alternative to framed crystalline modules, are the primary buyers of remaining NOS inventory.
