The unit is complete with its Georgii Kobold motor and internal belt-and-pulley drive train intact, but the side panel that covers the belt and pulley housing is missing. The open housing clearly shows the internal gear train, drive sprockets, and PowerGrip HTD 375-5M timing belt, which appear intact. The gears and belt drive components show surface oxidation consistent with the unit's age (manufactured April 1998), and the housing exterior has some rust staining at the edges and mounting corners.
