Applications
Edge sealing tape for thin film (CdTe, CIGS, Perovskite) and crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules. Used in Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) insulated glass units, Perovskite/c-Si tandem cell arrays, and dynamic glass systems. Functions as perimeter seal to control moisture infiltration and provide electrical isolation in module construction.

This Quanex Solargain Edge Tape (614-3922-893) PV butyl roll is new and unused. Rolls are stored vacuum-sealed in mylar bags within the original manufacturer box (19 rolls per box). Individual rolls are removed from the sealed bag at the time of shipment. One bag was opened to photograph the product — the tape itself is unused and in new condition.
