Applications

Wafer probers are used in semiconductor manufacturing and testing to perform electrical and physical measurements on silicon wafers during production and quality control stages. This semi-automatic model was used in fabrication facilities for wafer inspection and probe card testing workflows.

This Pacific Western Systems P5NMS Semi-Automatic Wafer Prober is being sold AS-IS for parts or repair. The system has not been tested and appears to be missing some components. It is not guaranteed to be functional and is offered in its current condition only. The unit includes a Dell E770P 17" CRT monitor and a Logitech keyboard. Externally, the prober shows normal wear consistent with lab use — paint chipping and scuffing are visible on the control panel and enclosure surfaces. The lower cabinet electronics rack, drive mechanisms, and chuck assembly are present and visible in the photos.
