Applications

This Pacific Western Systems P5NMS Semi-Automatic Wafer Inspection Prober powers on and the included PC boots successfully to Windows NT 4.0 with the PWS Probe II application loading. We were unable to test the prober mechanics and wafer handling functions beyond that point, so the full operational status of the stage, chuck, and automation systems cannot be confirmed. The system is being sold in as-found condition. Cosmetically, the unit shows its age — the control panel surfaces have notable soiling, staining, and some surface debris visible in several areas, consistent with years of lab use. The Olympus SZ40 stereo microscope, the operator control panels (including X/Y step counters, mode selectors, elevator controls, and wafer size dials), the ViewSonic E70f 17" CRT monitor, HP PS/2 keyboard, and mouse are all included and present. The internal card cage, stepper motor drivers, belt drive assemblies, and wiring harnesses appear intact.
