Applications

Channel changers were standard components in satellite earth stations and telecom ground systems for frequency band selection and tuning operations. This C-Band unit integrates with larger SATCOM receive and transmit systems requiring motorized channel switching. Dual motors with different gear ratios enabled precise and rapid band tuning across satellite transponder networks.

This BEI 01238/30-710460-001 C-Band Satcom Channel Changer has been inspected and is in good condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was in use and functional. The enclosure is intact with no visible cracks or damage. The D-sub multi-pin connector on the front face shows normal contact wear, and the Pittman DC gear motors and encoders are present and appear undamaged.
