Versitron R306M Isolation Device Output Module +6V -6V Signal GND
The Versitron R306M is a plug-in isolation device output module manufactured by Versitron Inc. (U.S. Pat. 3,385,970, Product No. 15892). It is housed in a compact gold-anodized aluminum enclosure and mates with a standard 11-pin relay-style socket. The end panel carries an Output jack and a Gain adjustment port. The pin-assignment legend printed on the housing identifies the signal lines: Output (pin 1), Signal GND (pin 2), +6 VDC (pin 4), -6 VDC (pin 5), and GND (pin 6).

Applications
Isolation device modules like the Versitron R306M are used in industrial signal conditioning systems to electrically isolate an analog signal from its source, preventing ground loops and protecting sensitive instrumentation from noise or voltage differences between circuits. Versitron produced a range of these plug-in isolation amplifiers primarily for industrial process control and data acquisition applications during the 1960s and 1970s, a period when rack-mounted, socketed plug-in modules were standard building blocks in process instrumentation panels. The +6 VDC / -6 VDC dual supply and signal ground pinout is consistent with instrumentation systems of that era. This Versitron R306M Isolation Device Output Module has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The gold-anodized aluminum housing shows light surface wear consistent with age and prior use. The 11-pin connector pins appear intact and undamaged. The end-panel Output jack and Gain adjustment port are present and show no obvious damage. The internal PCB (visible in photos with the cover removed) shows no signs of obvious component damage, burning, or corrosion. This module was not bench-tested at our facility.
