Uni-Solar PVL-144 144W Flexible Amorphous Solar Panel 46.2Voc MC3 600V UL
The Uni-Solar PVL-144 is an 18-foot amorphous thin-film flexible solar panel rated at 144W maximum power output. It uses a triple-junction amorphous silicon cell design and features a PowerBond peel-and-stick adhesive backing for direct application to compatible roofing surfaces — no mechanical fasteners required. MC3 output cables are factory-attached and the frameless, flexible construction allows it to conform to slightly curved substrates.

Applications
Uni-Solar PVL-series panels are designed for building-integrated and low-slope photovoltaic applications where rigid framed modules are impractical. The peel-and-stick PowerBond backing bonds directly to standing-seam metal roofing, Dens-Deck, and Shield roofing substrates, making them a common choice for commercial low-slope rooftop systems and residential metal roof installations. Their flexibility and light weight also make them well-suited for RV and mobile home rooftops, marine vessels, and other transportation applications where mounting area is curved or structural load is a concern. The triple-junction amorphous silicon cell design performs relatively well in diffuse and low-light conditions compared to mono- or polycrystalline modules, which can be an advantage in overcast climates. Uni-Solar (United Solar Ovonic) manufactured these panels in Auburn Hills, Michigan, with production at their Mexico facility; the PVL-144 was among their most widely specified commercial rooftop products during the late 2000s and early 2010s.
This Uni-Solar PVL-144 144W Amorphous Flexible Solar Panel is new and unused, pulled from a 2011 date-code carton. The panel shows no wear or damage.
