This listing is for a factory carton of 30 Uni-Solar PVL-116 flexible thin-film solar laminates — 116 watts each, 3.48 kW total. The PVL-116 is a peel-and-stick amorphous silicon photovoltaic laminate designed to bond directly to membrane and architectural steel roofing surfaces without penetrations, mounting hardware, or added structural load. These are UL listed, Category 3 hurricane-rated (130 MPH uplift resistance), and are new and unused, sourced directly from the Uni-Solar manufacturing and distribution facility when it closed in 2012.

Applications
The Uni-Solar PVL series are building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) laminates intended for commercial and industrial roofing applications where conventional framed panels are impractical. They bond directly to standing seam metal roofs, architectural steel roofs, and compatible membrane roofing systems, converting existing roof area into a power-generating surface without penetrating the weather barrier or adding significant structural load. The thin-film amorphous silicon cell technology gives these panels a performance advantage over crystalline panels in diffuse, cloudy, or low-angle light conditions, and the cell-level bypass diode architecture means partial shading — common in real-world rooftop environments — has minimal impact on overall system output. The PVL-116 was widely used in commercial BIPV installations through the mid-2000s and early 2010s, particularly on large-footprint industrial and institutional buildings. Uni-Solar (United Solar Ovonic) ceased manufacturing in 2012; new old stock panels from that liquidation remain sought after for replacement arrays, off-grid systems, and projects where a flexible, adhesive-mount solution is required. These panels are also compatible with standard grid-tied inverter systems when combined with an appropriate combiner box, DC disconnect, and inverter as shown in the included Uni-Solar system documentation.
These Uni-Solar PVL-116 flexible thin-film solar panels are new and unused, stored in the original factory carton of 30. They came directly from the Uni-Solar manufacturing and distribution facility when it was liquidated in 2012, and have been in dry storage since. The panels themselves show no signs of use or installation. The factory carton is open, as shown in the photos, and the panels remain coiled inside with their MC3 connectors and accessories.
