The Uni-Solar MX1-711-000-5 is a purpose-built pneumatic corner-cutting machine designed to trim the corners of 14.5"-wide plastic sheets used in the manufacturing of thin-film solar panels. Built by MISCO Industries, this custom automation station uses paired pneumatic cylinders driving slanted blades downward through linear motion guides to simultaneously cut both corners of a sheet in a single press cycle. It accepts a 14.5" wide plastic laminate sheet on the flat work surface, and optical fiber sensors handle precise alignment. The machine runs on 110 VAC and requires an external compressed air supply for the cutting heads to operate.

This Uni-Solar MX1-711-000-5 Corner Trim Machine has been inspected and is in good used condition. It was pulled directly from a solar panel production environment where it was in active use. The internal 110 VAC to 24VDC power supply (Rhino PSP24-060S) lights up when plugged in. The cutting heads require an external compressed air supply to operate — the machine is pneumatically driven and will not cycle without air connected. The aluminum extrusion frame and polycarbonate safety guards are intact and show normal production wear.
