Benchtop impulse field generator used for EMC/EMI radiated emissions and susceptibility testing. Generates calibrated impulse fields with selectable pulse polarity for laboratory and field testing applications.

Applications

Impulse field generators are used in EMC test labs and manufacturing environments to assess equipment susceptibility to radiated transient disturbances. This type of instrument generates fast-rise impulse fields to test and validate shielding, filtering, and transient immunity in telecommunications and industrial equipment. Commonly used alongside other EMI/RFI test equipment for compliance verification and product validation.

This Singer 91263-1 Impulse Field Generator has been inspected and is in good used condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was in active use. The blue and gray benchtop enclosure shows light scuffing and general surface wear consistent with bench use — no cracks or significant damage to the cabinet. Front panel controls, knobs, and the HV Regulator indicator are all present and appear intact. The BNC output connector, Power On/Off toggle, and fuse holders are in good shape.
