Applications

Historically used in broadcast, telecommunications, and defense environments for EMI compliance testing, field strength surveys, and troubleshooting RF interference. Compatible with standard benchtop lab setups and external recording/scanning equipment via rear connectors. Measures radiated emissions across civilian and military frequency allocations.

Condition: Used
This Singer Stoddart NM-37/57 EMI/Field Intensity Meter has been inspected and is in good used condition. The instrument carries a Carnel Labs calibration certificate (Canoga Park, CA) dated 11/14/2012, traceable to NIST per MIL STD 45662A/ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994; the calibration due date on the sticker reads 12/14/2013, so recalibration will be needed before use in a compliance-critical application. The front panel shows normal wear consistent with a previously used bench instrument — controls, knobs, and panel graphics are intact and legible. The calibration sticker is present and affixed to the front panel. The rear-panel BNC output connectors (orange) and the multi-pin programmer connector are present. The serial number label (SN 0502-08178, Singer Instrumentation, Los Angeles, CA, Made in USA) is clean and fully legible. Please view our photo set — including the full Carnel Labs calibration document — and contact us if you have any questions.
