The Rittal SZ 2586 is a door-operated position switch designed to mount on the inside of an electrical enclosure door or panel. When the door is opened, the switch actuates automatically, triggering a control signal — commonly used to cut power to interior components, activate interior lighting, or signal a control system that the enclosure is open. It carries one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) contact, allowing it to serve both interlock and signaling functions.

This Rittal SZ 2586 door-operated switch has been inspected and is in good used condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was in active service. The switch body and contacts are intact; however, some of the plastic mounting clips are cracked, as shown in the photos.
