Control unit for electron gun beam focusing and resolution adjustment in Riber molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) systems. Manages beam parameters through analog controls and digital display readout.

Applications

The TCE-300 serves as the primary beam control interface for Riber MBE and XRF electron gun systems. It regulates focus geometry and beam resolution across multiple spectroscopy modes via the four-position selector (EB, EC, 1–4, Multi x10). Commonly deployed in thin-film deposition and materials analysis laboratories where precise electron beam parameters are required.

Condition: Used
This Riber TCE-300 E-Gun / X-Ray Focusing and Resolution Control unit has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The front panel controls — including the Focalisation Entree, Resolution, Focalisation, and V.Multi sections with their coarse and fine adjustment knobs — are all present and show no obvious damage. The Newport LED digital display is intact. The chassis shows light surface wear and minor scuffing consistent with lab use, but there are no cracks, broken knobs, or missing hardware. The rear BNC connectors (J1, J2), multi-pin connectors (J7, J8), large circular connector (J9), and IEC power inlet all appear complete and undamaged.
