Description

Micro Weld A554 Vacuum Feedthrough Stainless Steel Shaft D-Sub Connector Valve

Mechanical vacuum feedthrough with stainless steel shaft and D-Sub multi-pin connector. Enables signal and motion transmission through vacuum chamber walls while maintaining chamber integrity.

Specifications & What's Included

  • Model: A554 (MPN: A554)
  • Shaft: Stainless steel
  • Body: Brass with integral gas/vacuum valve and green handle
  • Connector: D-Sub, approximately 37-pin array
  • Coil assembly wound on cylindrical end body
  • Unit only — no accessories included

Applications

Vacuum feedthroughs are used in laboratory and industrial vacuum systems to pass mechanical motion, electrical signals, or fluid lines into sealed chambers while preventing air leakage. This model is compatible with vacuum chambers, thin-film deposition systems, and research chambers. The D-Sub connector and integral valve make it suitable for multi-signal applications requiring both electrical and gas/vacuum control.

Condition: Used
This Micro Weld A554 vacuum feedthrough has been inspected and is in good used condition. The stainless steel shaft is straight and intact with the model designation 'A554' clearly engraved. Both brass end assemblies show surface oxidation and some patina consistent with lab use, and there is some solder or epoxy residue visible around the shaft entry on the large brass end cap — typical of prior installation. The D-Sub multi-pin connector and the coil/contact pin array both appear complete with no obviously bent or missing pins. The integral brass gas valve with green lever handle is present. No cracks or structural damage are visible. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
