Applications
Token Ring adapters connect computers to IBM Token Ring networks and were standard in enterprise environments through the 1990s and early 2000s. This card supports both shielded twisted pair (STP) and unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cabling, allowing connection to existing Token Ring infrastructure. Compatible with PCI-slot computers running legacy operating systems that supported Token Ring drivers.
