Applications
The Kronos System 400 was a widely deployed workforce management terminal series used in manufacturing plants, distribution centers, hospitals, and large commercial facilities throughout the 1990s and into the 2000s. The 460F terminal was a badge-reading time clock that collected employee punch-in/punch-out data and transmitted it over a network to Kronos workforce management software running on a host system. The Ethernet Main Board is the core of the terminal — it runs the operating system, manages badge reader input, handles real-time clock functions, and provides the network link that makes automated time and attendance tracking possible. Replacement main boards are sought by facilities that still operate Kronos System 400 terminals, as well as by service organizations that repair and refurbish legacy Kronos equipment. The RS-232/RS-485/Modem switch-selectable serial interface also made these terminals compatible with a variety of host communication setups common in the era.
This Kronos 6600186-999 System 400 Ethernet Main Board for the 460F Time Clock Terminal has been inspected and is in good condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was in active use and functional. The PCB shows normal handling wear consistent with service use. No cracked traces, broken connectors, or damaged components are visible in the photos. The terminal blocks and DIN power connector appear intact. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions. Please note: We have multiple units in stock — yours may not be the one shown in the photos, however, it will be similar in condition and function.
