The SE2000 Hermit 2000 is a portable environmental data logger designed for field-based groundwater monitoring and sensor data acquisition. It records and stores environmental measurements via multiple sensor ports and communicates data through RS232C serial interface.

This In-Situ SE2000 Hermit 2000 Environmental Data Logger is being sold as-is for parts or repair. The internal battery (Electrochem Industries Part No. AVT-3000-12A, BCX72, DD size) is bad and the unit will not operate on internal power alone — it requires an external power supply to function. The unit has not been bench-tested and no functionality is guaranteed. The enclosure shows moderate wear including paint chips, scuffing, and surface marks on the rear and sides, consistent with field use. Importantly, one of the included cables shows exposed and frayed wiring at the connector boot and should be inspected before any use.
