Rack-mount L-band satellite distribution amplifier with 32 BNC output ports. Distributes satellite L-band signals across multiple receivers or downstream equipment in telecom and satcom installations.

Applications

L-band distribution systems are used in satellite ground stations, teleport facilities, and broadcast receive sites to fan out single satellite signals to multiple decoders or modulators. This unit was designed for commercial satcom environments requiring centralized signal distribution with integrated amplification and splitting. Commonly found in VSAT networks, DTH (direct-to-home) distribution centers, and satellite uplink/downlink facilities.

This I.F. Engineering MC-1200-2X32-F/B-UG 32-Port L-Band Distribution Box has been inspected and is in good used condition. It was pulled from a working satcom environment where it was in active use. All sub-components are present, including both AAK CM242 24VDC regulated power supplies, both AM-701-014-B RF amplifier modules, and both PD-16-LBAND-B L-band splitter boards. The unit shows normal wear consistent with rack-mounted service use. Note the label on the rear panel: DC blocks are required on the outputs of this unit.
