The Emerson Islatrol IE-110 is a single-phase AC power filter and surge protective device (SPD) designed to suppress high-frequency electrical noise and transient voltages on 120VAC power lines. Using Active Tracking technology, the IE-110 continuously references the AC waveform to filter common-mode and differential-mode disturbances across all three protection modes: Line-to-Neutral, Line-to-Ground, and Neutral-to-Ground.

Applications

The Islatrol IE series is used to protect sensitive electronic equipment in industrial automation environments from power line disturbances including switching transients, lightning surges, and conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI). Common deployment scenarios include protection of PLCs, HMIs, motion controllers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and other industrial control equipment connected to 120VAC branch circuits. The DIN rail form factor makes the IE-110 a direct fit for control panel and enclosure installations where power conditioning is required at the load level. It is also used in telecommunications equipment rooms and distributed control system (DCS) panels where clean power is required for reliable operation of sensitive electronics.
