Description

Ealing Corp 35-3961 Bandpass Filter 649.6nm Deep Red 10.6nm FWHM 59%T

Dielectric bandpass filter designed to isolate deep red wavelengths at 649.6nm. Passes a narrow spectral band of 10.6nm with 59% peak transmission, blocking out-of-band light through multi-layer interference coatings.

Specifications & What's Included

  • Center Wavelength: 649.6nm (deep red/visible spectrum)
  • Bandwidth (FWHM): 10.6nm
  • Peak Transmission: 59%
  • Construction: Dielectric (interference coatings)
  • Mount: Black anodized ring
  • Manufactured: March 9, 1984
  • QC Verified by: Cary 14 spectrophotometer
  • Includes: Original factory QC test chart

Applications

Filters at this wavelength are used in spectroscopy, fluorescence microscopy, photometry, and laser-based optical systems requiring narrow-band red light isolation. Compatible with spectrophotometers, fluorimeters, and optical bench assemblies. Commonly deployed in research and industrial photometric instrumentation where selective wavelength transmission is required.

Condition: Used
This Ealing Corp 35-3961 dielectric bandpass filter has been inspected and is in good condition. The filter element appears clean and free of visible damage, scratches, or coating defects. The black anodized ring mount is intact with no chips or damage. The filter comes in its original Ealing plastic clamshell foam case, which shows light surface wear consistent with age. Notably, the original Ealing Corp factory QC test chart dated 3/9/84 is included — it documents the measured CWL of 649.6nm, HBW of 10.6nm, and 59% peak transmission, tested on a Cary 14 spectrophotometer and signed off by QC.
