Applications
MFM controller cards were standard in PC systems from the 1980s through early 1990s for interfacing hard drives and floppy drives. This controller is compatible with IBM PC, XT, and AT systems and their clones. It was used in desktop and tower systems requiring MFM drive support before IDE and SCSI standards became dominant. Suitable for system restoration, legacy hardware repair, or vintage computing applications.
