Applications
Avantek ATM-series amplifiers are wideband, low-noise GaAs MESFET amplifiers designed for microwave signal amplification across the Ku-band (12–18 GHz), a range covering satellite communications downlinks, radar intermediate frequency chains, electronic warfare subsystems, and microwave test and measurement setups. Avantek was a leading U.S. manufacturer of microwave and RF components and semiconductors, later acquired by Hewlett-Packard (HP) in the early 1990s, which is why Avantek products are sometimes listed under the HP brand.
