Applications
The 1771 I/O system is the foundational I/O platform for Allen-Bradley's PLC-2, PLC-3, and PLC-5 families of programmable controllers, which were the dominant industrial automation controllers in North American manufacturing from the late 1970s through the 1990s and remained in widespread use well into the 2000s.
