Applications
The Yamaha SE Series floor monitors are designed for live music and live sound reinforcement use — as stage wedges angled up toward performers so they can hear themselves during a performance. The S12Me's 12-inch driver and 500W max power handling make it suitable for small to medium live venues, rehearsal rooms, houses of worship, and club stages. The wedge shape lets it sit flat on the floor in front of a performer, while the internal pole socket gives the option to mount it on a standard speaker stand as a satellite PA cabinet when needed. These passive monitors require an external power amplifier with a separate monitor mix feed from the PA mixing console. The SE Series was a mid-range Yamaha PA product line targeting semi-professional and working musicians, and units like the S12Me remain in active use on smaller stages and in rehearsal settings today.
This pair of Yamaha S12Me SE Series 12-inch floor monitor PA speakers has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. Both cabinets show normal wear consistent with live sound use — the black carpet covering has some scuffing and light soiling on both units, and the metal corner hardware shows typical handling marks. The metal grilles and speaker cones appear intact with no visible tears or damage. Both units were pulled from a working environment where they were previously in use.
