The Xunlight XRD12-100 is a 100-watt flexible amorphous silicon solar panel from Xunlight Corporation's XR Solar Laminate Series, manufactured in Ohio, USA between 2012 and 2015. Unlike rigid crystalline panels, it uses amorphous silicon cells bonded to a thin stainless steel substrate and encapsulated in EVA and ETFE, making it flexible, rollable, and significantly lighter than conventional glass-faced panels. It is designed for 12V off-grid battery charging applications and is not rated for grid-tie use.
