Applications

Frame Relay access probes were used to monitor Frame Relay network traffic and diagnose connectivity issues in telecom and data center environments. Typically deployed at network access points to capture and analyze Frame Relay protocol communications between DTE devices and Frame Relay switches. Compatible with legacy Frame Relay networks common in enterprise telecommunications through the 1990s and 2000s.

This TyLink Corporation FRAP Frame Relay Access Probe does not come with a power supply. Without a power supply we were unable to power or test the unit, so it is being sold as-is with no guarantee of functionality. The unit itself is in good cosmetic shape — the case is clean, the front-panel labels and LED indicators are intact, and the rear DTE port, COMM, and NET connectors appear undamaged.
