Benchtop tribology spinstand system for friction and wear testing of hard disk drive components. Used in HDD R&D for head/disk interface characterization and disk surface analysis.

This TTI Inc T9000 TriboCop Spinstand tribology test system is being sold as-is for parts or repair. It came out of Western Digital where it was used in hard drive manufacturing R&D. The equipment has a good overall appearance with normal wear consistent with lab use — the granite plate, TriboCop base unit, SC2000 Signal Conditioner, TTI Control PC, and TTI power supply chassis are all present and appear physically intact. However, a portion of the upper assembly and one or more cables are reported missing, and due to the system's age and incomplete state, we are not able to confirm functionality.
