Applications
Tesa 4129 is a general-purpose PETP splicing tape used across a range of industrial and manufacturing applications. It is commonly used in solar panel manufacturing for solar cell layout and securing during the lamination process. Additional documented uses include splicing of filmic and photographic negative materials, litho mounting, and edge protection and reinforcement of film-based substrates. The transparent polyester backing and acrylic adhesive make it suitable for processes where a clean, optically clear bond is required and where resistance to UV exposure, moisture, and common chemicals is important.
