Temp-Tendor 428-8171R1 Temperature Controller 0-1000°C w/ SE Variac Transformer

Benchtop temperature control unit with integrated SE Variac autotransformer. Measures temperatures from 0–1000°C using a thermocouple analog panel meter and outputs variable AC voltage (0–100 VAC) via rotary dial control.

This Temp-Tendor 428-8171R1 temperature controller with SE Variac autotransformer is being sold as-is for parts or repair. The unit has been disassembled — photos show the SE Variac toroidal coil assembly and internal wiring harness removed from the steel enclosure. The power cord shows significant insulation cracking and wear and should be replaced before any electrical use. The enclosure has surface rust along the bottom edges and general wear consistent with age. The front panel meter face and SE Variac dial are intact. This item has not been tested and is not guaranteed functional. It is offered as a source of parts, including the SE Variac autotransformer, the Temp-Tendor thermocouple meter, relay board, terminal block, and related hardware.
