Applications
Genesis 6000 frames were used in broadcast video facilities and telecom installations for audio/video monitoring and signal distribution. The modular architecture allowed operators to configure the unit for specific monitoring tasks using plug-in cards. Typical applications included master control rooms, satellite uplink centers, and studio monitoring systems. The frame supports both analog video and embedded audio signal paths common in broadcast infrastructure from the 1990s through early 2000s.
This Tekniche Genesis 6000 Model 6001 rackmount frame has been inspected and is in good used condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was previously in use. The chassis shows light surface wear consistent with rack use — minor scuffing on the top cover and front panel edges. All four modules (6041T Iss2, 6090T Iss2, 6021 Iss3, 6042T Iss2) are installed and present. Rear connectors including the IEC inlet, D-sub ports, and BNC connectors appear intact.
