The Spectra-Physics AS3000 is a benchtop HPLC autosampler designed for automated sample injection in analytical liquid chromatography workflows. It features a front-panel LCD display with a dedicated keypad (RUN, STOP, STATUS, MENU, ENTER) for direct instrument control, and an XYZ needle arm mechanism visible in the sample compartment for precise vial-to-column injection. This unit has been tested and is in working condition, deinstalled from an active analytical laboratory.

The Spectra-Physics AS3000 was produced by Spectra-Physics (later acquired by Thermo Separation Products and subsequently integrated into the Thermo Fisher Scientific chromatography line), and is compatible with Spectra-Physics and Thermo Separation Products HPLC pump and detector systems from the same era. These instruments remain in service in many legacy LC setups and are sought as cost-effective replacements or spares for existing Spectra-Physics HPLC configurations.
