Description
SoloPower SP1-75 75W 21.8V Flexible Thin Film CIGS Solar Panel MC4 Rooftop
The SoloPower SP1-75 is a 75-watt flexible thin-film CIGS (Copper Indium Gallium Selenide) solar panel designed for rooftop and building-integrated photovoltaic applications. At just 0.1 inches thick and 4.6 lbs, it rolls up to a 10–12 inch diameter for transport and storage, and lies flat across low-slope or curved roof surfaces without the bulk of a framed crystalline panel. MC4 connectors are located on opposite ends of the panel for standard series or parallel string wiring.

Applications
CIGS thin-film panels like the SP1-75 are used in rooftop photovoltaic systems where low weight, flexibility, and minimal roof loading are priorities — common applications include commercial low-slope membrane roofs, metal standing-seam roofs, and building-integrated PV (BIPV) installations. Unlike rigid framed panels, the SP1 series conforms to slightly curved surfaces and installs without penetrating the roof substrate, making it a practical choice for retrofit projects and structures with weight restrictions. SoloPower produced these panels at their San Jose facility in the early 2010s as part of an effort to bring roll-to-roll manufactured CIGS panels to the commercial rooftop market. They are compatible with standard grid-tied and off-grid inverter systems that accept 1000VDC string voltage, and wire into conventional combiner boxes using standard MC4-compatible hardware.
This SoloPower SP1-75 flexible CIGS solar panel is unused and comes directly from SoloPower's QC department at their San Jose, California manufacturing facility. It has been tested to output voltage. Many of these panels have handwritten markings on them from the testing process — this is normal and expected for QC-sourced units. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions. Please note: We have multiple units in stock — yours may not be the one shown in the photos, however, it will be similar in condition and function.
