Applications

The SGI Onyx 10000 was deployed in scientific computing, visualization, and engineering workloads during the mid-to-late 1990s and early 2000s. This power module was integral to the Onyx 10000's multi-processor architecture, managing power distribution to CPU and memory subsystems. Compatible with SGI Onyx 10000 servers using the 305X2 power assembly specification.

This Silicon Graphics SGI 305X2 Power Module Board (030-0743-002, Rev B) has been inspected and is in good used condition. The board was pulled from a working SGI Onyx 10000 server environment where it was actively in use and functional. The PCB surface is clean with no visible corrosion or damage; both the black and silver heatsink assemblies are intact and securely mounted. The card-edge connectors appear clean and undamaged.
