Rackmount power sequencer designed for Sun Microsystems servers and workstations. Provides switched and unswitched outlet control with local or remote operation via DB9 serial interface.

Applications

This power sequencer was used to manage startup sequencing and power distribution across Sun server and workstation installations. It enabled remote power control and outlet switching through serial interfaces, commonly deployed in data centers and server rooms where coordinated power management was required. Compatible with Sun Microsystems platforms from the 1990s–2000s era.

Condition: Used
This Sherwood Enterprises Model 10 Sun Server Power Sequencer (300-1290-03) has not been powered or tested at our facility and is being sold in as-inspected condition. The unit appears intact and complete externally, with normal surface wear consistent with prior rack installation — light scuffing and minor marks on the aluminum chassis. All outlet connectors, DB9 interface ports, and the main input connector appear undamaged. The gray protective cover for the input connector is present.
