Description
Secomak 632 Direct Drive Centrifugal Hot Air Blower 9KW 415V EMG Motor IP54
The Secomak 632 is a direct drive centrifugal hot air blower combining a centrifugal fan scroll with an integrated 9 kW electric resistance heater in a single compact unit. Manufactured by Secomak Ltd. of Stanmore, Middlesex, England, and CE marked, it delivers a continuous flow of heated air through a cylindrical duct outlet. The unit is driven by an EMG (Elektromotoren Grünhain GmbH & Co KG) DAS 71S 2-770 motor rated at IP54 for resistance to dust and water ingress. A built-in safety requirement means the heater must not be energised without the blower running.

Applications
The Secomak 632 is a self-contained hot air attachment designed for industrial process heating and drying applications where a directed stream of heated forced air is required. Units of this type are used in manufacturing environments for tasks such as drying coated or printed substrates, warming moulds and tooling, accelerating adhesive or paint curing, and providing localised process heat in production lines. The centrifugal fan design moves a high volume of air at moderate pressure, making it well suited to duct-fed or open-discharge heating systems. Secomak has produced centrifugal fan and hot air blower systems since the mid-twentieth century for industrial and commercial customers, and the 632 series dates from the era when 415V three-phase supplies were the standard for industrial heating equipment in the United Kingdom and Europe. This class of equipment remains in use today wherever a compact, direct-coupled hot air source is needed on a production floor or in a test or conditioning rig.
This Secomak 632 Direct Drive Centrifugal Hot Air Blower has been pulled from a working environment and visually inspected. The unit appears in good overall condition — the teal housing is clean with no obvious dents or heavy wear, the centrifugal scroll and cylindrical duct outlet are intact, and the EMG IP54 motor shows normal light use. The steel base frame shows minor surface marks typical of industrial use. The unit has not been powered up or bench-tested at our facility. A paper installation instructions document is included with the unit, as seen in the photos. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
