Rolm 8691 501173-01 AC Power Supply 120VAC 18A Multi-Voltage 5V-48VDC 2.16kW

Multi-voltage AC power supply manufactured by Lorain Products (Reliance Electric Company) for Rolm PBX and CBX telephone systems. Converts 120VAC input to nine regulated DC and AC outputs ranging from +5VDC to -48VDC, plus a 90VAC 20Hz auxiliary output.

Applications

This supply was designed to power Rolm PBX/CBX telephone switching systems and related equipment. It provided multiple voltage rails required for control circuits, signaling, and peripheral devices in these systems. Rolm telephone exchanges were widely deployed in enterprise environments through the 1980s and 1990s.

Condition: For Parts or Not Working
This Rolm 8691 501173-01 AC Power Supply was pulled from a working environment and has not been powered up or tested at our facility. The unit is in good used cosmetic condition overall — the gray steel enclosure shows typical light surface wear, minor scuffs, and general handling marks consistent with prior service use. The front panel, terminal blocks, fuses, indicator LEDs, and trim-pot adjusters are all present and intact as shown. The attached NEMA L5-20P twist-lock power cord is included.
