The Riber TCA 380 is a rackmount scan generator (Générateur de Balayage) designed for use with electron spectrometers and surface analysis instruments. It generates and controls the high-voltage sweep signal applied to the analyzer section of an electron spectrometer, with the scan voltage output displayed on a front-panel analog kV meter. The unit accepts two plug-in modules — a Scan (Balayage) module and a Modulator module — allowing it to drive both the sweep and modulation functions required for spectrometer operation. Made in France by ISA Riber.

The Riber TCA 380 is a specialized instrument used in electron spectroscopy systems, particularly X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS/ESCA) and Auger electron spectroscopy (AES) instruments manufactured by ISA Riber.
