The Prime Source Cutter I BASIC Programmable Material Cutter Tandy 102 Microstep AX

Benchtop cutting machine designed for programmable length cutting of tubing and materials. Cuts material up to approximately 5mm thick using an electric solenoid-actuated razor blade, with stepper motor-driven feed mechanism.

Applications

This Prime Source Cutter I BASIC Programmable Material Cutter has been tested and found to be in working condition. The complete system is included: the cutter mechanism, AX Series Microstep Drive controller, Tandy 102 computer, and interconnecting cables. Note that the rubber feed wheel has become gummy from storage — this is the wheel that grips material to prevent slipping during feed, and it is a standard replacement item. All other mechanical and electrical components are in good working order. The unit shows light surface scratches on the enclosure consistent with normal use.
