Applications
LNA power supplies are used in satellite ground station receive systems to provide regulated power and control/monitoring signals to Low-Noise Amplifiers mounted at antenna feeds. The CF12 module series was deployed in C-band and Ku-band satellite earth stations for communications, meteorology, and data reception applications. This three-unit configuration supports multi-channel or redundant LNA configurations typical in broadcast, telecom, and government satellite operations.
This LNR Communications CF12 012660-1 LNA Power Supply Power and Control Module has been inspected and appears to be in good condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was previously in service. The chassis and all three CF12 plug-in units are present and intact. The front panels show some light surface marks and minor pen marks are visible on one unit (visible in photos). The rear connector areas show some oxidation around the D-sub connectors and chassis metalwork, consistent with field use. All three cooling fans are present.
