This is a fiber optic flex cable ring light assembly designed for use with stereo microscopes and similar inspection equipment. The unit consists of a stainless steel armored flexible conduit terminating at a 15mm input tip on one end and a black anodized ring mount on the other. The ring mount clamps around a microscope objective to deliver annular, shadow-free illumination to the subject below — a standard configuration for stereo microscope illumination setups.

Applications

This fiber optic flex cable ring mount microscope illuminator is in good used condition. The armored stainless steel cable and black anodized ring mount show normal handling wear; the ring mount has some light scuffing on the outer surface, visible in the photos. The fiber bundle face at the input tip appears intact. This accessory does not include a light source or power supply — it is the cable and ring mount only.
