Each motor drives a threaded rod in both the clockwise and counter-clockwise directions, providing powered linear extension and retraction. This pair of Fasco Industries Type 64 hospital bed linear actuator motors (Div. No. 7164-0436) has been tested and confirmed in working order. Both motors run in both directions as intended. The units show age-appropriate wear consistent with prior service use — the motor housings have surface oxidation and grime typical of older industrial surplus, the junction box shows discoloration and light corrosion on its phenolic body, and the hand controller housing has yellowing and light soiling on the cord.
