This is a custom-built inspection and positioning assembly constructed around a Daedal linear slide. The assembly integrates a fine-adjustment micrometer with the linear slide mechanism, allowing controlled, repeatable linear positioning of a workpiece or fixture. The base and upright structure are machined from anodized aluminum with a black hardcoat finish. A pivoting clamp and bracket system is mounted to the upper portion of the assembly for securing components during inspection or measurement operations.
