Applications
Spin coaters are used in optical media manufacturing to apply uniform coatings to disk surfaces during production. This unit was designed for use in CD, DVD, and Blu-Ray disk production lines. The rotating chuck holds disks in place while the chamber spins to distribute coating material evenly across the disk surface.

The unit shows cosmetic wear consistent with lab or production use: the aluminum base plate has surface discoloration and staining, and the exterior of the motor housing shows scuffing and weathering. The clear acrylic bowl/shield is intact and functional. The BASE-labeled toggle switch operates the motor. The power cord is intact with a standard 115V plug.
