The ASCO 8210G34N is a 2-way normally closed solenoid valve from ASCO's Red-Hat II series, manufactured by Automatic Switch Co. of Florham Park, New Jersey. It features a brass body with 1/2" NPT connections and is oxygen-rated to 150 PSI. Applications
ASCO Red-Hat II solenoid valves are widely used in industrial fluid and gas control systems to start, stop, or divert flow automatically or via manual override. The 8210G34N's brass body and oxygen-rated 150 PSI rating make it suitable for oxygen service, compressed air systems, inert gas lines, water control, and light oil applications. NEMA 4X enclosure ratings allow use in washdown and outdoor environments. The Red-Hat II name refers to ASCO's manual override feature — the red button allows the valve to be opened by hand without energizing the coil, which is useful for system testing and emergency override. This ASCO 8210G34N Red-Hat II 2-Way Brass Solenoid Valve has been inspected and is in good used condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was previously in use and functional. The brass body shows normal service wear, and a green corrosion streak is visible on the side of the solenoid coil housing (visible in photos). The wiring harness and multi-pin connector are intact.
