Applications
Apple used a proprietary 15-pin DB connector standard (DSC-152) on its Macintosh computers and monitors through the late 1980s and into the 1990s — most notably on the Mac II series, LC series, Quadra, and compatible Apple monitors of that era. As VGA and the higher-density HD15 connector became the dominant display standard, adapter and crossover cables like this one were used to bridge Apple's older DSC-152 pinout equipment to monitors or devices using the HD15 (DSC-153B) interface. This Apple DSC-152 to DSC-153B monitor cable has been inspected and is in good used condition. It was pulled from a working environment. The cable jacket is intact along its full 5–6 ft length, and both connector ends — the DB15 male and the HD15 female — show normal age-related discoloration on the housings but the pins appear intact with no obvious damage.
