Passive surge suppression device for T1 and E1 telecom lines. Protects connected equipment from voltage transients and surges on digital transmission circuits using a 10-volt clamp voltage.

Applications

T1 and E1 surge suppressors protect telecom equipment at customer premises from lightning strikes, switching transients, and line surges. Commonly used on PBX systems, data terminals, channel banks, and other digital telecom equipment receiving T1/E1 circuits from carrier networks. This passive device requires no power supply and operates continuously without maintenance.

This AC Data Systems TJ1010B T1/E1 TVSS Surge Suppressor is new and unused. It may be out of its original manufacturer packaging, but the unit itself shows no signs of use or wear. The unit includes its installation instructions sheet, an RJ-48C patch cable, a green ground cable with ring terminal lug, and a bag of assorted wire terminals — all as shown in the photos. Note: the original listing referenced a UPS battery requirement, which does not apply to this product; the TJ1010B is a passive surge suppressor and requires no battery.
