ETFE ultra barrier top sheet film designed for flexible thin-film solar module lamination. Functions as the front protective layer in photovoltaic construction, providing moisture barrier properties and optical transparency for light transmission.

Applications

ETFE top sheets are standard components in flexible thin-film solar module manufacturing, particularly for CIGS and amorphous silicon technologies. This material was used in commercial production at Solopower's Portland facility. The film serves as the outermost protective layer, providing environmental barrier protection while maintaining high light transmittance to the active photovoltaic cells beneath.

Condition: Open Box
This 3M UBF-9L ETFE Ultra Barrier Solar Film is new and unused in its original 3M box. The material was purchased new by Solopower, a flexible solar panel manufacturer based in Portland, Oregon, when they closed operations. It has never been used in a lamination process. The date code on this material is 2012–2013. We are selling it by the linear meter; if you need multiple meters, simply increase your order quantity.
