The 3M UBF 510-F is a multi-layer ETFE (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene) barrier film designed as a front sheet / top sheet encapsulant for lightweight, flexible thin-film photovoltaic modules. It functions as a glass replacement in flexible solar panel constructions, providing a transparent protective front layer between the solar cells and the environment.
