It is offered here complete with the Zeiss Achromat S 1.0x objective, which provides a 90mm working distance — well suited to manipulation-heavy applications.

The SV 11 head's 11:1 zoom ratio (0.6x–6.6x) combined with the 1.0x Achromat objective gives a generous working distance of 90mm, making it well suited for dissection, PCB inspection, microelectronics assembly, and fine manipulation tasks where hands or instruments must fit under the optical path. Zeiss Stemi SV-series microscopes were produced from the 1980s through the 1990s and remain in active use in labs today due to the quality of their Zeiss optics. This head is compatible with Zeiss Stemi SV 11 stands and focusing mounts, allowing integration into an existing Stemi SV setup.
This Zeiss Stemi SV 11 binocular stereo microscope head has been inspected and shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with lab use — light scuffing and minor marks on the housing are visible. The optics appear clean and clear with no visible haze or damage to the objective or internal lenses. The zoom knob turns smoothly through the full 0.6x–6.6x range.
